Our Story

Awesome Dogs Magazine was founded by C. Bradley of Riverside, California, drawing on over 40 years of experience living and working with dogs. My journey began as a breeders and Pet Photographer, with a strong belief in responsible, selective breeding, but as I witnessed the growing crisis of overcrowded shelters, My focus shifted toward rescue and advocacy. i became dedicated to helping overlooked, hard-to-place, and at-risk dogs—working to save lives, raise awareness, and give every dog a chance to be seen. Along the way, we discovered that the most unique and awesome dogs are right within our own communities, each with a story worth sharing.

That realization led to the creation of Awesome Dogs Magazine—a platform that celebrates everyday dogs and their owners through stories, photos, community spotlights, and events. We host a Local Photo Contest to showcase amazing dogs while supporting our mission, promote shelter awareness and adoption, and highlight the beauty of purebreds through our Stud Section—not to encourage breeding, but to educate readers on breed standards and excellence.

At our core, we believe dogs enrich our lives, and every dog—regardless of background—deserves to be celebrated.
